Yo
ho ho~!
I’m
back, with a topic that is still in line with the topic in my last post.
Few
people been asking me about how Noppin’s auction service works, and I think to
myself, “Why not write it out so I don't need to explain it again and again for
number of times?”
This
is going to be a short explanation, but I still hope it’s going to be helpful!
- Deposit some money first. Before you can bid on an auction, you need to deposit some money first on Noppin. With this deposit, you can know the limit of your bidding, which is three times bigger than your deposit. For example, if you deposit 2000 yen, you can bid until 5000 yen. If you won an auction, this deposit is untouched.
- Pick your desired auction. You know what this is.
- Set your bid limit. Set your bid limit for the auction. For example, the bid starts at 1 yen, and you can bid until 10000 yen thanks to your deposit but you only want to pay up to 2000 yen because it’s desirable but ain’t that worthy, so you can set your bid limit to 2000 yen.
- Let Noppin do their magic. Noppin works with auto-bid, which means if someone bids higher than you, they will automatically bid higher yen by yen—as long as it’s still below your bid limit.
- Know your position on the bid. There’s the whole explanation at Noppin’s page. This update will let you know if someone outbid you, too.
- And finish all the remaining process. Since the deposit is untouched, you need to pay for your item(s).
- The deposit could be refunded. If you want your money back after winning an auction and finishing your transaction, Noppin can refund your deposit (in the exact same amount as you pay them OH MY GOD).
